Repeat customer has its brand new HQ refurbished with high performance resin
Brief Description
Having previously used Remmers coatings in its old facility across the city, the company were keen to stick with the tried and trusted product range.
Problems and Requirements
The finish needed to be light coloured to give maximum reflectivity, hard wearing and most importantly, slip resistant as the production processes often involved a lot of oil and hydraulic contaminants being spilled on the factory floor.
To add to this, the build program was condensed so that the resin finishes needed to be applied only weeks after the slabs were cast.
As a result, Remmers Epoxy MT100 moisture tolerant priming system was used to control the construction moisture in the concrete slab to ensure that it had no detrimental effects on the new floor finishes.
Over 6000m² of finishes were installed using Epoxy Flex PH as a 3mm composite system. For the ultimate durability, Aluminium Oxide was used as the anti slip media within the floor to ensure the minimum health and safety guidelines were exceeded for many many years.
