R11 Slip resistant resin floor for new workshop building
Brief Description
An official luxury car dealer in Northern Ireland required a resin floor for their new hi-tech workshop, which had been constructed to complement their recently refurbished showroom.
It was important to use a durable floor system that was suitable for the demanding workshop environment, but to also keep up the clean, modern and luxury appearance of the automotive brand.
Problems and Requirements
The existing old concrete floor in the workshop was constructed in several slabs and therefore a high potential for movement existed.
The floor required filling and levelling prior to the application of the new flexible surface finish. The system proposed by Remmers was a flexible 3mm visco elastic PUR resin system with a polyurethane seal coat.
The seal coat has integral R11 slip rating and a high degree of chemical resistance making it the perfect choice for the new workshop.
