High performance resin flooring system unrivalled by sheet vinyl flooring
Brief Description
Having had issues in the past with sheet vinyl flooring, a resin option was under consideration.
Problems and Requirements
The client requested a clean, hygienic and joint free floor installation for a cleanroom fit out project. The resin was to be safe underfoot, durable and with a soft, comfort feel.
The moisture and oil contamination were controlled using Epoxy MT100 primer, which is tolerant to both contaminants. After which, PUR Indu Color D40 was installed, a visco Elastic PUR resin, giving a flexible base layer to enable the finishes to be installed without mirroring through construction joints within the slab beneath.
The final coating was applied using PUR Aqua Color Top M followed by a coat of PUR Top M+. The combination of seal coats gave the best combination of colour, UV stability and durability.
The Final coat, PUR Top M+ is a single component, 100% solids, clear PUR lacquer with unrivalled abrasion and chemical resistance.
